Test Manager

Client is looking for a Test Manager to reinforce its IT General Systems development team. Our team of 50 people is responsible for developing and maintaining common systems, such as a referential system, financial system, a common datawarehouse,.... As
these systems have connections with almost every application, client is constantly searching to improve its structured testing process. These applications are mainly developed on a multi-tier architecture based on mainframe (cobol/DB2) and .Net technology, but also have SAS components and other technologies.

Start date: asap
Duration: 12 months
(Depending on project evolution, limited extension is possible)

Localisation: Brussels centre.

You will be responsible for the coordination of system-, integration- and regression-test activities with the project manager:
o Deliver test estimations and plan test activities
o Develop the test plan
o Testing of new processes
o Set-up of a testing procedure
o Test coordination and follow-up
o Set-up of a testing organization
o Deploy the company’s testing method, based on TMAP Next
methodology
o Coach and review the deployment
o Create and maintain Testware

Coaching of project leaders, analysts and developers to enhance their testing skills
The person must have the will to continually track the progress of testing works to anticipate any problems or delay.
He has to be capable to assimilate quickly the technical environment, the concise content of the application, E2E processes and data models.
