IT Functional Analyst

Client is looking for a Functional Analyst to reinforce its Horizontal Systems development team. Our team of 12 people is responsible for developing and maintaining client’s common referential system.
A series of major projects will launched within the client to modernize its common referential and client base application. This application is
developed on a multi-tier architecture based on mainframe (cobol/DB2) and .Net technology.

Start date: asap
Duration: 12 months
(Depending on project evolution, limited extension is possible)

Localisation: Brussels centre.

It will be your key objective to analyse the various requirements of our business clients and consequently test the implemented solutions. You will establish a functional documentation in collaboration with our technical analysts and will therefore cooperate with functional architects and technical analysts to provide the best and most structured solution to the received business requirements.

Your main tasks will be to:
· Make detailed functional analysis based on business user
requirements and/or a first functional design done by the architecture
team. The solutions you provide must be structured, flexible and
maintainable.
· Explain your analysis to developers and technical analysts
responsible of implementing the analysed functionalities and organize
the correct and efficient implementation.
· Execute system testing and assist business user in their acceptance
testing.
