Business Test Analyst SWIFT– Application Management International Payments


Swift is the network used to exchange messages between banks across the world. Within the client, this is supported by 2 different groups of applications: Back-end applications (on the mainframe) and Front-end applications (SAA, SAG, …).
A project (“Swift Integration” is currently ongoing to integrate the whole client flows on the Frontend applications of client in France , while the Back-end applications remain on client side.

The whole project should be finalized beginning of 2012.
From there, 2 different tasks will have to be managed within the Application Management International Payments Team:
- for the back-end applications: the team is responsible for the whole
release management on business side
- for the front-end applications: the team is the contact point between
client in France and the various users from different business lines
within the client
We are actively searching for 1 Business Test Analyst to support this in 2011 and 2012.

Localisation: Brussels (near Central Station).

Functie omschrijving

Language requirement :
French is required (spoken & written) because of the regular contacts with the client in France. Written English is required as well (all
documents are in English).
Dutch is a plus.

Required level and content of education
University graduate.
Personal skills
Mandatory: - precision and clarity (oral, written)
- communicative (with team members and with IT colleagues & other
partners)
- flexibility (in peak periods extra efforts may be required)
- fast learner
- team player
Preferable: - ability to compromise on solutions with multiple parties (business, IT)
Business experience required
Mandatory: - 1-3 years of professional experience in banking, in a project environment
Preferable: - knowledge of SEPA payments
- knowledge of domestic payments
- knowledge of the PSD
Technical experience required
Mandatory:
- affinity with systems and processes
- ability to work with IT department to transfer & explain specifications
or defects to the developers
Preferable:
- experience with a banking package is a plus

Functional experience required
Mandatory:
- experience with test preparation & execution, roll-out support
(V-model)
- experience with defects and incidents management
- risk awareness (judging severity of incidents)
Preferable:
- experience with business testing on projects related to SEPA credit
transfers or SEPA direct debits
- experience with functional/technical design
- experience with change requests management

Objective of the job
- for the back-end applications: manage the whole release
management cycle (release scoping, requirements, testing, incidents
analysis, communication and coordination)
- for the front-end applications: follow-up all the projects managed on the BNPP side, to coordinate all the required actions on clients side in
the different businesses, and perform the required actions specifically
for PAY.
